The Tinnitus Notched Tunes App is intended to help anybody suffering from tinnitus to create their own Notched Music. From any given .mp3-audio file that is stored on the user's Android device the app removes a user-defined frequency band around the tinnitus frequency. This is an on-the-fly procedure and the app allows to monitor the new audio spectrum to make sure that the desired frequency band has been removed. In addition, the Tinnitus Notch Filter App provides a tool that helps patients to determine their individual tinnitus frequency and design a tinnitus notch filter that best fits their needs. The signal processing procedures in this app are designed in such way that excellent audio quality is guaranteed.
